    One more thing to add here , when i am trying to troubleshoot using this Ondrive link sign in link https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact?linkquery=Get%20help%20signing%20in%20to%20a%20OneDrive%20account , here as well after entering my Hotmail email id , below is the error, it seems to be some issue with hotmail account, though i am able to use email & other web versions.

    Thanks for coming back & I really appreciate your answer of providing multiple ways to confirm if we are on right track. Below are the answers to your questions.

    1- Windows hello – Unfortunately, it cannot be set up my laptop, seems its incompatible (screenshot attached)

    2- Yes the alternate email is same as used for login to Hotmail account as I am able to receive otp to sign into Hotmail email (web version) successfully with this email id , however this verification code is triggered on my hotmail.com email id.

    3- Yes , its added to trusted sender list

    4- Yes I can access Onedrive & Microsoft teams using web version which I was able to use from my desktop app as well until this last week.

    Actually Onedrive windows app sync is critical for me as my important work files and other folders are always in real time sync hence I need get to this resolve at the earliest .

    And confirm my position on all your 4 questions as "YES" however despite this issue persist.

    Kindly help me fix my issue as well, as mentioned above i am not receiving verification code on my Hotmail email and there's just one option to choose amongst, no sms or auth app.
